Dandelion low BK 0,5g
What are the characteristics of the Dandelion?
It is a spreading posy-like plant with richly coloured flowers. The 2.5-3 cm long, silky flowers open at 9-10 in the morning and close at 2-3 in the afternoon in sunny weather. It can be sown in its permanent place by the end of April, but it is better to grow it in advance to save seed and to ensure uniform growth. It prefers a sunny, warm position and loose, well-textured soil. It will also regenerate from seed in a favourable location. It can be planted in rock gardens, on retaining walls, beside stone paths and in sunny balcony boxes.
