UV-17 AGRO PLANT COVER VEGETABLE FILM White plant cover veil film weighing 17 gr/m2 is versatile in crop production. The extremely lightweight cover protects against unpleasant weather conditions - ground frost, strong winds, rain, etc. and hail, - and also against damage caused by insects, animals and birds. Its fibrous structure allows air, light, precipitation, irrigation and water to pass through. water and spray, thus providing an optimal microclimate for plant germination and growth. Its use results in high yields, improved product quality and earlier harvesting. Excellent for use in the cultivation of vegetables, lettuce, spinach, radish, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, cucumbers, melons, early potatoes, leeks, courgettes and various herbs. UV-17 AGRO is used immediately after sowing or planting. It is spread loosely on the soil without tensioning. The edges are loosened every 50 cm. In larger areas, or if more effective pest control is desired, the veil is ground down in a circle. Flowering plants, e.g. strawberries, cucumbers, courgettes, etc. are opened for a few days for pollination. Other plants can remain covered until harvest. With careful handling, UV-17 AGRO can be used repeatedly. Store in a dark and dry place. It can be used in the field, in gardens, in foil tents and in greenhouses. In combination with the black mulch film UV-50 AGRO, the beneficial effects can be further enhanced. The mulch films also meet the requirements of organic horticulture and are an alternative to costly and energy-intensive primary production technologies. UV-17 AGRO mulch films are available in rolls from 1.60 m to 16.00 m wide, max. 250 m long, or in hobby packs.
