Flaking tablets to improve the filtering effect
Forms a large filterable precipitate with fine contaminants suspended in the water.
Use: Opalescent water may still form despite regular use of a filtering device sized appropriately for the volume of the pool. AQUAFLOCK is used to eliminate this, in order to increase the filtering effect. It forms large flakes with turbidity-causing contaminants which get caught on the sand filter. If the water is not clear despite treatment, turbidity may be caused by organic contamination. In this case, adjust the pH to between 7.2 and 7.6 with MINE or PLUSAPH and shock chlorinate with CHLORINE. After intensive filtration and filter backwashing, repeat the treatment. For sand filters only. After filter backwashing (every 1-2 weeks), place 1 textile bag per 50 m3 of pool water in the skimmer. Storage: keep in a cool, dry place!
