- Before inserting the Kpe tube into the spigot, taper the end of the tube with a hand-held tube cutter
or with a mechanical KPE pipe taper taper that can be clamped in a drilling machine

The internal threaded Kpe elbow bend bend allows the Kpe pipe end to be connected to an external threaded bend (KM) at a 90 degree angle.
